• A&E Approach:

  

  While we tailor the approach to meet your needs, our typical method of preparing construction documents is scope based. Our documents are comprehensive when identifying existing conditions and very concise in conveying the exact finished details of your proposed assets. This attention to detail results in construction documents that significantly reduce confusion and conflict for all projects throughout the construction process:

  • fewer questions during the bidding process of construction projects
  • fewer change orders from general contractors
  • reduced conflict during deployment

  As an added value, our A&E process includes a systematic effort of gathering all available and pertinent information, then reconciling it to what is conveyed in our construction drawings. This is the case for all of our plans, details, notes and specifications.

• Structural Analysis Approach:

  

  GPD’s approach to Structural and Tower Analysis services is tailored to meet your expectations every single project, every single time – putting forth every effort to effectively guide your projects and add value. We have completed over 10,000 structural analysis projects throughout all fifty (50) states. Our understanding of the code as well as, our experience and knowledge gained ensures that your asset is in the very best technical hands.

  • We have a variety of experience across market sectors such as community facilities, education, power distribution, retail commercial, public works, parks & recreation, and transportation
  • We have a formal quality assurance program in place for all structural engineering, tower analysis and tower strengthening projects
  • The manager or principle of each internal discipline conducts a detailed review of the source documents, the calculations, the results and the details of all projects.

  Whether your project is governed by EIA/TIA-222-F or EIA/TIA-222-G, efficient and effective structural analysis projects begin with the proper documentation of the asset in question. If you are able to provide the original tower design drawings, the foundation design, the geotechnical report, a detailed inventory of existing loading as well as, high resolution photographs, we are typically able to complete the structural analysis within five (5) to eight (8) business days.

  In cases where all of the needed information cannot be located, the engineers of GPD Group can act as an owner’s agent by securing all of the needed information. Our engineers are very experienced with obtaining geotechnical investigation, foundation mapping, tower mapping and structural mapping. Depending on your preference, we can conduct a search of your existing files for the needed information or we can secure this information from the field.

  In the event that the structural analysis indicates that the tower’s loading exceeds the capacity of the structure, our engineers are fully capable of developing modification drawings and even providing a turnkey solution for strengthening towers.

• Environmental Engineering Approach:

  

  Throughout the past decade we have successfully completed over 4,500 wireless environmental projects.

  • We have very in-depth knowledge of Environmental Assessments, Recognized Environmental Conditions, Testing and Remediation.
  • In addition to NEPA and Phase I services, we perform balloon testing and photo simulation.
  • We have a team of LEED certified professionals that can apply a consultative approach towards sustainable design for your projects.

  A comprehensive understanding of Section 106 as it applies to the wireless industry is critical to navigate your projects through the development process. Our environmental professionals have the education, training, experience as well as, local relationships with SHPO personnel to ensure that your project is completed successfully in the timeliest manner.
