Mark S. Salopek, AIA, NCARB

Educational, Housing, Public Buildings Practice Leader

Mr. Salopek leads the GPD Associates architecture group with nearly 20 years of design and leadership experience.

His efforts have contributed to overseeing several design efforts of the organization for many clients. Part of his commitment to leadership is to ensure that all of our clients needs are met. Further, Mr. Salopek is responsible for making certain that the architectural team is meeting and/or exceeding our clients' expectations. His team's project accomplishments include numerous school districts throughout Ohio, The Summit County Juvenile Court and Detention Center, and several projects for The City of Akron, Ohio.

The added value that Mr. Salopek brings to every project is a diverse design background that spans from education to public buildings. He earned a bachelor's and master's degree in architecture from Kent State University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Architects Society of Ohio.
