Practice Leader, Project Manager, and Municipal Engineer; Mr. Ciuni wears many hats for GPD Group.

Mr. Ciuni is an expert in Municipal Public Works and Infrastructure Improvement projects. He has been the firm's designated "City Engineer" for several Northeastern Ohio Municipalities since 1990. Mr. Ciuni has excellent communication skills, possessing the unique ability to make presentations at Public Meetings that answer complex, technical, engineering questions in terms the average resident understands. Mr. Ciuni is also an expert in securing funding for Public Works projects. In the last 10 years, he has prepared applications and secured millions of dollars in funding from: Ohio Public Works Commission ("Issue II"), Cuyahoga County CDBG funds, ODOT Enhancement Funds and ODOT LPA funds. After securing funding, Mr. Ciuni has successfully designed, managed and administered construction of these municipal Infrastructure improvements.

Mr. Ciuni is in responsible charge of a core team of engineers, designers, surveyors, Cad operators and construction inspectors who continually service a wide array of Public Works projects from back yard drainage challenges to multi-million dollar street reconstructions. Mr. Ciuni is a firm believer that communication with the public (especially local residents directly affected by the project), local officials and City Directors is the key to a successful project. His peers, clients, local contractors and government agencies respect Mr. Ciuni for his practical, realistic approach to engineering solutions and his timely response on all matters.

Mr. Ciuni earned his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Notre Dame and he is a member of the Municipal Engineers Association of Northeast Ohio, American Society of Highway Engineers, and Cleveland Engineering Society. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Honduran Children's Rescue Fund, yearly participating in Mission Trips to Honduras to build public works projects in the Village of Nuevo Paradiso.
